April 20-21, 2013 at High Point Equestrian Centre in South Langley
Discover how the exciting new sport of Extreme Cowboy Challenge can be used by riders of all levels to build a solid horsemanship foundation for success – while having some serious fun.
In this introductory clinic, you’ll discover how the exciting new sport of Extreme Cowboy Challenge can be used as a way for riders of all levels to build a solid horsemanship foundation – all while having some serious fun. Don’t let the word “extreme” fool you. This sport offers a level for everyone, from beginner to advanced. If you can walk and trot your horse in an arena, you are ready for this introductory clinic!
This introductory clinic begins with horsemanship basics on the ground. Feel your confidence grow as you tackle each new obstacle with success. You’ll gain that connection to your horse you’ve always wanted as you progress to tackling obstacles under saddle – and you’ll be surprised at how brave your horse becomes as he trust you more and more as a rider.
Best of all, every element of this clinic is immediately transferable to your day-to-day activities with your horse, whether it’s respect on the ground, trailer loading, dealing with spooky objects in the arena, or bravely crossing that river on the trail.
Your level of detail and control with obstacles on the ground and under saddle will immediately translate to your chosen discipline.
